Mechanics / Property Maintenance Supervisor
BNG Trading Company is the oldest and largest independent food importer and distributor in PNG.
We are looking to recruit staff as below for our rapidly expanding facility in Port Moresby.
MECHANICS
- Reporting to the Fleet Manager you will be responsible for the maintenance of both diesel and petrol delivery vehicles/fork-Lifts up to 10-Tonne
- Applicant should be qualified mechanics with own tools and have at least 3-years proven experience, be self-motivated and detail focused.
- An attractive salary will be offered to the successful applicant based on experience and skills.
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
- Reporting to the Group Property Manager you will be responsible for the maintenance of properties in the Port Moresby area
- Applicant should have at least 3-years proven experience in property maintenance, with sound knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and small project supervision.
- Must be capable of supervising a small team of maintenance workers and be self-motivated and detail focused.
- Must have a current driver’s license
- An attractive salary will be offered to the successful applicant based on experience and skills.

Candidate Requirements
- Tertiary / Diploma/ Certificate qualification in Food Technology or Science-related courses (i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Tropical Agriculture, etc.), newly graduates are welcome
- Knowledge in GMP, HACCP and Quality systems an advantage
- Able to work night, weekends and with minimum supervision
- Team player
Production Staff
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10
- With 1 year hands on butcher experience or in a similar smallgoods role/environment preferred but not required
- Able to work night, weekends and with minimum supervision
Cleaners
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Grade 6
- With previous work experience in a similar role/environment preferred but not required
- Able to work night, weekends and with minimum supervision
Warehouse Staff
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10
- With warehousing experience or in a similar role/environment preferred but not required
- Able to work night, weekends and with minimum supervision
Drivers
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum Grade 10 Certificate
- 3 years driving experience and a valid Class 6 or 7 Driver’s License
- Honest, reliable and hardworking
- Able to work any day of the week
- Needs to provide police clearance
